During October 2024, Zigzag entered the body shop in Gosselies, at Heliex for painting..... It is mustard yellow above and black at the bottom of the body.
Raptor paint, for those who don't know, is a 2k polyurethane coating that offers great scratch resistance. It therefore protects the bodywork elements that are most often mistreated.
Its qualities are:
durability: high resistance to shocks, scratches and stains;
protection: against corrosion, rust, UV and high temperatures;
insulating: insulates the body from humidity and dampens vibrations and sounds;
resistance: mainly to external aggressions such as oils, fuels, animal urine, salt water and much more.
The graining is smooth rather than rough because, as the bodybuilder explained to me: you will drive in a 4x4, it will be covered in mud, if the bodywork is rough, it will be more difficult to clean it.
Two coats, impeccable work.
Zigzag has its fans and its less-fans.
I received many comments: it's the color of the Post Office, ohhhh DHL, but no it's Caterpillar ... or even .... when it has spots, you'll walk around with the Marsupilami.
The goal when traveling is to go unnoticed, you will be too visible... and so on.
